Here are a variety of different sports programs we have enjoyed over the past few years- serving Lower Merion, Haverford, Marple, and Radnor Townships.
We Not Me Sports
Multiple sports, for multiple years is the long term approach they take for athletic development! Their leagues help classmates play together and they have offerings each season.
Sports: Basketball, Flag Football, Golf, Summer Camps, and more
Ages/Grades: Boys/Girls grades K-5
Basketball
Main Line Girls Basketball Association- (MLGBA)
MLGBA offers recreational (K-12th) and travel teams (3rd-8th) for Girls basketball during the Winter season. They also run Fall and Spring Clinics too! There are no residency requirements! Most of the girls who participate live in Lower Merion, Radnor, and Haverford and practices/games are all played at the gyms at the Lower Merion public schools.
Ages/Grades: Girls- Grades K-12
Penn Valley Junior Sports Association- (PVJSA)
The PVJSA basketball league is for boys grades K-8th. They have travel tryout teams grade 3rd- 8th too. All games/practices are located in Lower Merion township.

Philly Roots
Roots is a developmental and competitive basketball program for girls that enables players to reach their next level of competition. This is for grades 3rd-12th grades and players come from all over the TriState area to compete and play.

Lower Merion Sports- (AKA Lower Merion Hoops)
Lower Merion Sports serves the baseball and basketball community in the township of Lower Merion. Lower Merion Sports believes in advance player training (this is a travel sports program) while teaching proper sportsmanship, teamwork, character, self-esteem and leadership. It is our passion to provide Lower Merion players a year round baseball and basketball experience with tournaments, clinics and specialized training. We believe in teaching youth players strong skills with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship. Players can live in any surrounding area, this is for Boys grades 2nd-8th grade and they practice out of the Elite Sports Factory in Manayunk.
Ages/Grades: Boys- 2nd- 8th
Baseball/Softball
Lower Merion Little League (LMLL)- Girls Softball and Boys Baseball- ranging from TBall all the way through 8th/9th grade. We have coached both the softball and baseball teams. Lots of fun! Run by a great group of people. Need to be a Lower Merion resident to participate.
Lacrosse
Lower Merion Lacrosse Club- offers a variety of different programs for boys grades 1st-6th grade; clinics for beginners, academy program for more advanced younger players, and travel league for the upper grades. My neighbor is one of the owners and coaches and we are always impressed with his attitude towards youth sports!
Ages/Grades: Boys- 1st-6th
Lower Merion Youth Girls Lacrosse -offers beginner clinics for girls grades K-6th grade. They have a travel team for grades 3rd-8th grade.
Ages/Grades: Girls- K- 6th
NXT Lacrosse- offers Boys and Girls Lacrosse programming (camps, clinics, tournament teams, travel teams, recruitment program for college athletes) and all levels of skills. They offer a wide variety of choices year round for these athletes. Ages from 4 years old to high school students.
Ages/Grades: Boys/Girls- 4 years plus
Soccer
Steel United Pennsylvania has all ages and levels of boys and girls soccer. They have youth soccer programs, club teams, ShowCase teams, and Adult Teams. Their core values are teamwork, integrity, respect and commitment. Ages range from 4-23 and youth from all over Montgomery and Delaware County participate in their soccer programs. Our middle daughter has loved her experience with this organization!
Age/Grade: Boys/Girls- Pre K to Young Adult
Flag Football
Narberth Athletic Association offers baseball, soccer, and flag football. We have participated in Flag for the past few seasons, and it’s a hit! Ages range from 2nd-8th grade, boys and girls welcome. You don’t have to be a Narberth or LM resident to participate!
Age/Grade: Boys/Girls - 2nd to 8th
